Modern Treatise Expands Its Political Coverage
Modern Treatise is dedicated to covering multiple political perspectives via our weekly commentary by covering the conservative and liberal perspectives on an array of geopolitical topics. In addition, Modern Treatise will expand our political coverage to include the libertarian perspective.
According to the most recent YouGov poll, 15 percent of young Americans identify as libertarian, while 20 percent of those under 30 and 17 percent of those up to age 35 identify themselves with the political label. When it is broken down by income bracket, 22 percent of households making over $80,000 a year identify themselves as libertarian. And when gender is taken into account, 63 percent of libertarians are men and 37 percent are women. Furthermore, 27 percent of libertarians identify as people of color while 73 percent are white.
Readers will be able to read the intelligent and in-depth libertarian perspective and solutions to our most pressing issues in the new weekly column called Carte Blanche.
In the ever-changing world, Modern Treatise views adding the libertarian voice as a requisite and timely addition and counterweight to the political discussions that are dominated by conservative and liberal policies and philosophies. Moreover, Modern Treatise remains committed to the diversity of thought on the current state of our union.
